CPAP & Sleep Therapy

Sleep therapy starts with one decision: getting the right machine and a way to keep an eye on how the night is going. For people managing sleep apnea or breathing support at home, we carry CPAP and BiPAP machines, a portable mesh nebulizer for medication delivery, and a pulse oximeter to check oxygen levels. It is the core equipment, nothing padded out. Not sure whether you need a CPAP or a BiPAP? Email us at info@keraemedical.com and we can point you in the right direction.

CPAP and BiPAP are not the same machine

A CPAP machine pushes a single, steady pressure all night, which works for most straightforward sleep apnea. A BiPAP machine uses two pressures, higher when breathing in and lower when breathing out, which is easier to tolerate for people who need more support or who struggle to exhale against constant pressure. The right one depends on what was prescribed for you, not on which costs less.

If you already know which machine you are replacing, match it and move on. If you are starting out and unsure, the safest move is to confirm the setting with whoever ordered the therapy before you buy.

What the oximeter and nebulizer add

The Pulse Oximeter X1805 is a quick way to spot-check oxygen saturation, useful when you are getting used to a new machine or pressure setting and want a number rather than a guess. The portable mesh nebulizer covers a separate need: delivering inhaled medication in a quiet, battery-friendly form that travels well. Neither replaces the CPAP or BiPAP. They sit alongside it for people whose respiratory care runs a little wider than the machine alone.

CPAP and BiPAP machines both deliver pressurized air to keep the airway open during sleep, but they work differently. A CPAP machine delivers a single, steady pressure. A BiPAP machine delivers two pressure levels, one for breathing in and a lower one for breathing out, which some patients find more comfortable.

Our CPAP System Machine and BiPAP System Machine are both designed for home use. The choice between them typically depends on what your doctor has prescribed based on a sleep study.

This collection also includes a Portable Mesh Nebulizer Machine, which is useful for patients who need aerosol medication delivery alongside their sleep therapy routine. The Pulse Oximeter X1805 lets you monitor blood oxygen levels, which can be helpful for tracking how well your therapy is working.
